Lenovo Servers World Records

Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 and SR950 servers delivered 86 new #1 world record benchmarks using the second-generation Intel Xeon processor Scalable family CPU with systems ranging from 1S to 8S and based on a variety of workloads including Business Processing, Big Data Analytics, Infrastructure Virtualization, Server Side Java and General and Technical Computing.

This brings Lenovo world record benchmarks to 141 as of June 1, 2019 given the current 51 ThinkSystem world records with the first-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors in addition to 4 world records with the previous System x servers.

The new 86 #1 world records delivered by Lenovo Servers can be categorized according to the tested performance benchmarks designed for Data Center workloads as follows:

  • 32 new #1 world records in Big Data Analytics (SAP HANA (BWoH), STAC_M3)
  •   3 new #1 world records in Business Processing (SAP SD and TPC)
  •   3 new #1 world records in Infrastructure Virtualization (SPEC VIRT_SC 2013)
  • 27 new #1 world records in Server Side Java (SPECjbb 2015)
  •   8 new #1 world records in General Computing (SPEC CPU2017, SPEC Power)
  • 13 new #1 world records in Technical Computing (SPECompG 2012, SPECmpiM, SPEC ACCEL)

The above benchmarks have proven Lenovo ThinkServer SR950 and ThinkServer SR950 to be the highest performing servers in the following subject areas:

  • Lenovo ThinkSystem SR950 (4 socket) is the highest performing server specifically for your SAP HANA memory intensive database and analytics workloads according to SAP HANA (BWoH) Benchmark for Big Data Analytics.
